Growing!

I've thought about blogging about a gazillion times this week but its been so crazy I haven't had a moment to think, much less try and put some pictures up! So, here is my favorite picture from my phone this week...Aubry is getting so big and chunky! At her Dr. appt on Tuesday she was still 18.5 inches long but had gone up to 7 lbs. 4 oz. in weight. I have a ton more pictures of family and friends that I'll hopefully get up next week some time. We love you!!

Just a little note to let you know we were both thinking about you so much today as you travel back home to your family. I hope you had a safe journey and that being home brings you peace and joy. I have been telling Aubry about you when she eats because that seems to be the time that she just stares at me :) She is learning how much she is loved from all sides of her family.

Going home

We were told we could go home on Tuesday evening so we packed our bags and headed out that night, making it to our friends' house about 3 hours north of Salt Lake City. On Wednesday it took 11 hours almost exactly, to get from there to Ryan's brother's house where the girls were waiting to meet Aubry. She was such a trooper in the car seat so I had worried for no reason :) I wish I had videoed the girls' reaction to seeing her the first time because it was so sweet! Kaia was amazed at how small she is and Zoe wanted to know if she was hungry or needed a diaper change...such a little mommy!

Some of my side of the family came over today to meet Aubry. I didn't get a picture of my mom because she had a migraine most of the day so she looked terrible and would probably never forgive me if I posted a picture of her in that condition :) My brother, Toby and Aubry
